About the "Lechatchila" Movement
Lechatchila is a movement for cultivating Israeli Torah — bringing Torah into this generation, taking responsibility for it, renewing it, and building upon it a new story that transcends the divide between the religious and secular worlds.
Led by Yoav Sorek, Lechatchila offers a living Torah that gives full place to the mundane, to the body, and to the earthly — educating toward deep commitment while leaving room for growth and freedom.
